The Blessings of Liberty event is the main feature of U.S. Constitution Week in Windsor, Colorado. At this year’s Blessings of Liberty event, attendees will be greeted by the Northern Colorado Colonials, including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Betsy Ross, and more. The program will feature the following: Color guard, opening prayer, Pledge of Allegiance National Anthem (Star Spangled Banner) by professional vocalist Rebekah Burley Community sing-along of patriotic songs such as God Bless America, America the Beautiful, Armed Forces Medley, This Land is Your Land, I’m Proud to be an American, and My Country ‘Tis of Thee – led by Northern Colorado Students Collaboration Choir Keynote speaker Constitutional scholar Dr. Thomas Krannawitter who will deliver his presentation entitled “Rediscovering the Constitution: You’ll fall in love with your country all over again” Presentation of awards to 2023 winners of the Weld County Commissioner U.S. Constitution Week Essay and Art Contest
