The theme of this conference seeks to reinforce a proper Christian attitude and perspective during these times of mounting turbulence and confusion. Attend Constitution Week 2024's Blessings of Liberty Event, "Tragedy & Triumph: The Greatest Anti-Slavery Movement Ever"! Doors open at 5 p.m., and the program will begin at 6 p.m. (Sandwiches, chips and beverages will be served in the cafeteria from 5-6 p.m. to all ticketholders.) Attendees will be greeted by the Northern Colorado Colonials, including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Betsy Ross, and more. The program will feature: Color guard, opening prayer, Pledge of Allegiance, preamble to the U.S. Constitution, the National Anthem (Star Spangled Banner), Community sing-along of patriotic songs such as God Bless America, America the Beautiful, Armed Forces Medley, This Land is Your Land, I’m Proud to be an American, and My Country ‘Tis of Thee, Patrick Henry "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death" speech, presented by Liberty Common School headmaster Bob Schaffer, Keynote address "Tragedy & Triumph: The Greatest Anti-Slavery Movement Ever" presented by Constitutional scholar Dr. Thomas L. Krannawitter.
